"Jules' contribution to setting up the Mahia St. Kitchen beverage list was invaluable. He made a concerted effort to understand the philosophy of the restaurant, and as a result he expertly paired his proposed wine list with the restaurant's menu.
Jules' knowledge of both local and foreign wines is immense, and his ability to source good value products proved excellent.
I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Jules for his invaluable contribution to our business, and to acknowledge the enormous amount of effort he put into delivering a very professional and bespoke service."
Arnault Vallee, Chef & Owner - Mahia Street Kitchen

"Jules has been our main wine tasting presenter for the last two years. Our members love listing to his exceptionally diverse knowledge of various varieties of wine from all over the world. He has real passion for wine and approaches tastings in a very informal way which immediately puts our members at ease. This allows them the freedom to ask questions and not feel intimidated by their lack of knowledge. He harbours no pomposity with regard to wine and this really appeals to our audience. Jules encourages people to actively participate in this tastings by asking their options. There are no wrong or right answers and we believe he respects and appreciates all comments. His unique presentation style appeals to members from 20 years to 60's. His approach is both quirky, unique and respectful. We look forward to hosting many more events with Jules in the future."
